| dc.description.abstract | Neste trabalho relacionamos a Arte e a Matemática, através de três obras específicas do artista Maurits Cornelis Escher sobre a divisão regular do plano. Para melhor compreensão do artista, descrevemos fatos importantes de sua vida e as fases de sua obra. Relacionamos os principais temas da geometria plana e da geometria das transformações como subsídio para elaboração de futuros trabalhos com discentes. Descrevemos características das tesselações, com foco nas regulares, por fim fazemos uma análise usando às isometrias e tesselações de três obras de Escher mostrando que apesar de não ter domínio na Matemática, através da Arte Escher desvendou os mistérios de temas rítmicos em superfícies planas possibilitando a criação de obras primas, que fascinam o espectador. | |
| dc.description.abstract2 | In this work we relate art and mathematics, through three specific works by the artist Maurits Cornelis Escher on the regular division of the plan. For a better understanding of the artist, we describe important facts of his life and the phases of his work. We relate the main themes of flat geometry and geometry of transformations as a support for the elaboration of future works with students. We describe characteristics of the tessellations, focusing on the regular, finally we make an analysis using the isomemetry and tessellations of three works of Escher showing that despite having no mastery in Mathematics through Art, Escher uncover the mysteries of rhythmic themes on flat surfaces enabling the creation of masterpieces, which fascinate the viewer. | |
